What do we expect from you as a member of Sin’Dorei and what can you expect from us? Of course we expect you to follow the rules but there are a few other things as well.

First, we expect you to be active on the character that you brought into this guild. We don’t intend for this to be a guild where you park your alt while you play on your main.

Second, we expect loyalty. We are going to be loyal to you and try to help you when we can. We don’t like being used by someone to get keyed for Karazhan and get a little gear and then move on to bigger and better things. We are progressing towards more end game content but are not now nor ever likely to be an endgame raiding guild. If we aren’t progress fast enough for you then don’t join us.

We try to be helpful to each other as much as we can. Several of us do lots of runs through lower level instances to help people. It’s not something that will happen on a regular basis. None of us have unlimited time to play. We will do our best to put a guild run together for you but it doesn’t always happen. When it does it is because you are on for an extended period. Check the guild roster before you ask. If everyone is in an instance (or battleground) it may not be the best time to ask.

We do try to respond when a guild member is being camped or ganked. Sometimes no one can but we try.

We use vent a lot. We post a lot of information on the web page. If you’re not utilizing these resources then you are missing out on a lot. Be polite on vent. People in a raid or instance may not want chit-chat from people. You may hear a lot of chit chat from group members but they know when it is a down time and when things are about to heat up. People don’t mind you listening but don’t be a distraction.

We are in a guild to enhance our enjoyment of the game. Don’t do anything to spoil another guild member’s enjoyment of the game. Be respectful, courteous and helpful. Remember, we are playing a game. It’s supposed to be fun.
Carpe diem!
