No one has written in a LONG time, we have rogues, right? I have one that is level 22ish (maybe 23). What is the role of the rogue, other than lockpick?

The main purpose of the rogue is to infuriate the other classes.



And to do DPS. A LOT of DPS. MORE than hybrids.

We used to CC. But our CC sucks compared to all the others.

We can still AOE pretty well as long as their are 4+ mobs.

Rogue is probably the single best scaling DPS class right now. (Depending entirely on fight, and raid make-up) Rogues, Hunters, Mages, and Warlocks being the Pure DPS Classes all out-scale hybrid classes pretty well across the board. (Exceptions on some fights for DKs, and Enh Shammies.) If you want to do the most possible melee DPS in game, rogue is the way to go.
