I have been looking at developing a solid pvp healing spec for a priest. I have tried deep disc but have, sadly I might add, found my precious penance to be lacking in small scale arena. Currently I am looking at my own disc/holy hybrid (37/34). I am able to get the best survivability features from holy - and there are a couple of very nice talents in this regard - and not lose too much of what makes disc a strong choice.

I am losing a few nice talents from deep disc but I think what I gain from holy is worth the loss. Blessed Resilience and Surge of Light are great in this regard. I also picked up Spirit of Redemption to help turn the tide after I die. Lightwell? Well why not. One point and it now takes a pretty solid hit to remove its effect.

I have tried to maintain a bit of mana regeneration as well. One alternative build would be to take 2 points out of mana burn and 1 out of prayer of spirit and funnel these into reflective shield.

Any thoughts?
